Savannah Vascular and Cardiac Institute is a world-class center of excellence dedicated to compassionate and state-of-the-art treatment of
disorders of arteries and veins. The institute has specialized in minimally-invasive alternatives to open surgery, such as laser
vein treatments for varicose veins and angioplasty and stenting for arterial blockages and aneurysms.
The physicians and staff strongly believe in disease prevention through patient education, lifestyle changes and medications proven
to lower morbidity and mortality from vascular disease. Each of the 12 physicians at Savannah Vascular and Cardiac Institute are board-certified
and all have undergone additional fellowship training from accredited Vascular Surgery or Interventional Radiology, Thoracicand Cardiovascular centers of excellence
throughout the world including the Cleveland Clinic, Mayo Clinic, Emory University, Ohio State, University of the Netherlands, etc...
The institute remains actively involved in multiple clinical research trials in areas of vascular pharmacology, would healing,
minimally-invasive treatment options, etc...
Savannah Vascular and Cardiac Institute offers the only dedicated office-based vein centers and access centers in the region. The institute has
combined the safety and technology of a hospital setting with the convenience and efficiency of an office practice, utilizing the
latest in ultrasound and fluoroscopy (x-ray for arteries and veins). The institute also has one of the region's only accredited
(ICAVL) vascular labs for non-invasive imaging of blood clots, swollen legs, arterial blockages, aneurysms, carotid artery diseases
and varicose veins.
Savannah Vascular and Cardiac Institute is headquartered in Savannah, with satellite locations in Bluffton, Statesboro, Vidalia,
Jesup, Metter, and Okatie.
Our Doctors
All of our doctors are board-certified in Vascular Surgery, Interventional Radiology, or Thoracic Surgery. Each physician has undergone additional
vascular training at centers of excellence throughout the world including the Cleveland Clinic, the Mayo Clinic, Emory University
and the University of Utrecht, Netherlands. We pride ourselves on our reputation as the regions' specialists in the comprehensive
management of disorders of veins and arteries.
Our doctors are associate Professors of Surgery on the faculty of Mercer University School of Medicine and are members of multiple
prestigious regional and national medical societies. The physicians have published numerous articles and book chapters and remain
actively involved in ongoing clinical research trials.
